Full mouth rehabilitation
All Basic & Advanced Dental Care under one roof
We get several patients everyday with teeth that are worn or broken, who have multiple missing teeth. As a multi-speciality clinic with experts in various areas of dentistry, we are able to do Full Mouth Rehabilitation – a range of treatment techniques to restore and replace damaged/missing teeth. This could involve crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays, white or tooth-coloured fillings, bridges and dental implants, as well as treatments including soft tissue grafting and bone grafting.
We lose our teeth due to several reasons – gum disease, decay, injury, accident and as part of the natural aging process. When we lose our teeth it becomes a source of embarrassment for us since it affects our smile, self-confidence, also we have problems with eating, and sometimes problems with speech and it may affect the health of the remaining teeth too. A holistic solution is what will work in this case where we think of your overall dental health.
You can trust us to deliver the right solution for you, using advanced techniques we will create for you a natural look where you would be able to proudly show your smile again, eat a balanced diet and stay healthy.
Dentures
Replacing lost or missing teeth has substantial benefits for your health and appearance. A complete or full denture replaces the natural teeth and provides support for cheeks and lips. Without this support, sagging facial muscles can make a person appear older and reduce their ability to eat and speak.
A denture is an appliance which is worn to replace lost or missing teeth to enable you to enjoy a healthy diet and smile with confidence. A complete or full denture is one that replaces all of the natural teeth in either the upper or lower jaws. A partial denture fills in the spaces created by lost or missing teeth and is attached to your natural teeth with metal clasps or devices called precision attachments. The base of a denture is called a plate and can be made of either acrylic (plastic) or metal. The teeth are normally made of acrylic and can be made to match your natural teeth. This is especially important in the case of partial dentures.
Chrome Dentures
There is now an alternative to the traditional denture. Plastic dentures can be heavy and also cover a large area of the palate affecting speech and taste sensitivity. Chrome dentures can solve all these problems as they are much stronger and more stable. However, this can be used only in specific conditions.
Over Dentures
Partial dentures can sometimes move as gums change shape. Securing the denture to an existing tooth can be the solution.
A stud can be fixed to an adjacent tooth. The partial denture then ‘clicks’ onto this stud to secure the denture in place.
Implant Supported Dentures
A number of implants may be used to secure a lower denture. A hole is made in the jaw bone for each Implant.
The Implant is placed and a healing cap fitted. The gum is replaced while the bone recovers. Access to the Implant is made and the second part of the Implant is attached. Tiny magnets in the denture then keep it securely in place.
